MQ109 Environmental Equalizer.
This equalizer was made specifically to compensate for the XRT26
loudspeaker system. The XRT26 was made after I left McIntosh and was changed
from my original design. Customers said the system did not sound acceptable and
the MQ109 was produced to correct the problem.
MQ109B Environmental Equalizer.
This second version of
the MQ109 equalizer was made specifically to more accurately compensate for the
XRT26. The XRT26 was made after I left McIntosh and was changed from my
original design. Customers said the system still did not sound acceptable and
the MQ109B was produced to further correct the problem.
