This list has been compiled from my collection of books and magazines containing VanVogt stories as well as references. Hardcover and paperback dates are mainly for the first date of publication, and not for any later reissues. Although I think it is reasonably complete, there may still be some missing titles and dates. Any corrections or additions are very welcome.

Some stories may have more than one title. They may also have been combined with other stories and new material to form a "fix-up" novel that might have the same title as one of the stories, or a new title.

Non-Fiction Books

Van Vogt wrote only a few non-fiction books.
